Ok, I wrote that because it was just sort of fun. But now my logical side is stepping in and saying, “Yo, get a clue. If any of them got hurt, we would’ve heard about it already. Plus, there’s no way they would risk the lives of the cameramen and all the other support crew. If the lions even started to dig into the camp, a ranger or something would be there to help. Yes, I know it’s neat to see the lions and it’s interesting to see the fear in the happy-campers, but no one is going to get hurt. Dammit.”
Speaking of generation gaps.
Over at the Samburu tribe, the struggle between the older people and the lazy-ass immature don’t really understand or contribute in a worthwhile manner I could care less about what it takes to survive young people is becoming an obvious thing.
Frankly, I’m confused. My first impression of the young people was that they actually had brains. But now I’m not so sure. I think I heard this conversation.
Young Person #1: Do you think that we should maybe conserve our food?
YP#2: Nah. Let the old people conserve the food.
YP#1: Do you think that if we vote off the people who actually work that we may end up too weak to win any immunity challenges?
YP#3: Nah. We’re superhuman.
YP#4: Yeah, if they’re gone, we’ll just take over what they’re doing.
YP#2: But I don’t know where the watering hole is.
YP#1: Me neither. I’ve been too busy sitting on my ass.
YP#3: I’ve been too busy eating our dwindling supplies.
YP#4: See my tan?
YP#2: I just hope those old people don’t start throwing competitions.
YP#1: I once read that teams play better when they get along. Do you think this is true?
YP#3: Nah.
Let us now move on to a sensitive topic. One that should be treated delicately and with class.
